Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the fault
  • Installing, servicing and maintaining electrical plant systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance as scheduled
  • Capable of working individually or part of a team.
  • Previous experience of work with 440/240/110v equipment and 3 phase and single phase motor

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Fully qualified electrical apprenticeship
  • ONC in Electrical Engineering as a minimum requirement
  • Prior knowledge and experience of PLC’s, variable speed drives, instrumentation, AC motors
  • Prior experience in an FMCG environment is an advantageous
  • Fully qualified for 18th Edition wiring regulations
  • Working knowledge of PC software including Word, Excel
