This newly created role will focus on the day-to-day management of Marketing Cloud, alongside other important marketing duties.
So, what’s the role?You will be the driving force behind our email marketing strategy, taking full ownership of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. You’ll shape how we connect with customers by creating smart automations, designing meaningful customer journeys, and leveraging data-driven insights that deliver real, measurable value.
As the specialist of our Marketing Cloud email delivery roadmap, you’ll innovate and develop exciting new customer journeys and automations. While experience with SQL and AMPscript is a bonus, what really matters is your enthusiasm to learn and grow in these technical areas.Working closely with both internal teams and external partners, you’ll build and execute compelling email campaigns - from initial concept right through to launch - always looking for ways to streamline processes and add value through lean thinking.
Collaborating directly with our Head of Digital, you’ll help strategise and implement our email marketing approach, defining clear success metrics for every campaign. You’ll harness the power of data by integrating insights from Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, making our communications smarter, more personalised, and truly relevant to our audience.
As our go-to email marketing expert, you’ll ensure we stay ahead of industry trends, keeping our campaigns fresh, competitive, and aligned with our broader content strategy across website, social media, and other channels. You’ll also play a vital role in supporting the wider marketing team, bringing flexibility and collaboration to everything you do.
Owning the monthly reporting process, you’ll deliver clear, actionable insights and board-level narratives that tell the story behind the numbers. Bringing a data-driven mindset, you’ll analyse web analytics and campaign metrics to continuously optimise performance.
Your strong communication skills - both in writing and proofreading will ensure every message we send reflects our brand values and truly resonates with our customers. Detail-oriented and proactive, you’ll work independently to consistently deliver high-quality results while embracing a culture of continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for?- Someone who combines creative thinking, strategic insight, and technical expertise to take our email marketing to the next level. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- A degree in marketing or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- At least 2 years’ hands-on experience in email marketing, with strong expertise in Marketing Cloud
- A solid understanding of analytical and performance marketing principles, including database segmentation, digital campaigns, and CRM strategy
- A clear grasp of how email marketing supports both sales and customer relationships
- Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills
- A creative mindset paired with strategic thinking - someone who balances the art and science of marketing
- A collaborative, team-first approach with a talent for building strong relationships across teams and stakeholders
- Self-motivation, results-driven attitude, and the organisation skills to own your role and deliver consistently
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in the fast-paced, ever-evolving world of modern marketing
