Workforce Analytics Lead (Band 7)

Under the direction of the Head of Workforce Planning and Analytics, the post holder will be customer focussed supporting key Executives, management teams and both clinical and non-clinical staff by creating or tailoring reporting solutions to meets their business requirements and to improve the standards of reporting and information, and to highlight issues impacting data quality.
They will also assist in coaching stakeholders and users in the analysis and interpretation of the information, and how to use it to guide their decision making, in addition to advising on performance and to highlight issues impacting the quality of their data.
As a member of the information team the post holder will be expected to take part in all training offered and to continue developing Acute Trust NHS knowledge, NHS data knowledge, statistical skills, internal and external reporting expertise, and subject matter expertise (SME), and skill-based training (e.g. SQL, and other BI reporting tools and reporting languages).
Key aspects of the Senior Analyst role are to: Provide general information support and analysis expertise, as required and requested. Provide expert assistance in the production of all workforce information, such as statutory/mandatory returns, Trust and service delivery plans Play an active role in the monitoring and improvement of performance within the organisation.
This involves analysing, investigating and resolving complex queries Actively support the delivery of high-quality information. Produce business, performance and other information and analysis for divisions within the Trust and be a key virtual member of the team.

Take responsibility for the provision of cross-division information analysis as required The provision of accurate and timely information to satisfy both internal operational and corporate reporting requirements Analyse and deliver ad-hoc reporting requests and assist in the delivery of these as standard outputs where required Act as mentor to less experienced members of the People Systems, Information and Planning team Provide support and cross coverage for other members of the team To take direction and lead in delivering key information requirements, both internal and external
