What you will be doing:
The Customer Payments Officer is a pivotal role within the Mortgage Servicing department, you will have the opportunity to deliver a high-quality service for customers mortgage accounts from initial completion through to redemption that visibly contributes value and exceeds client and customer expectations.
Your responsibilities will include…- Processing all Finance tasks to agreed timescales and quality standards.
- Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of invoices, fees adjustments, or reversals utilising the journals as appropriate.
- Ensuring financial activities or other account adjustments and all credit arrears processes are always processed accurately.
- Ensuring correct appliance of procedures and mandates for each Client and take responsibility to report breaches to line manager when identified.
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills when dealing with internal queries and ensure the customer journey is considered in all interactions.

In return for your commitment:
We offer a base salary dependent on experience of between £24,000-£25,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
- Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 12.5%

Could you be the one?:
We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:
- Previous experience of working within a regulated mortgage environment
- Previous experience working in a finance administration role
- Detailed understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
