Job Title: Health & Safety AdvisorLocation: Hybrid, Wallingford based with travel
Salary: To £40k Company car/ allowance and benefits
An exciting new opportunity for a Health & safety Advisor to work alongside our QUENSH Manger. The role will primarily requiresupporting the business in developing policies and procedures to control critical safety risks. You will also be responsible for
safety audits and inspections across our UK based sites, identifying opportunities for improvement while engaging with staff
across all levels of the business. You’ll work from the Wallingford hub while frequently traveling across the country and
occasionally staying away from home working on numerous projects.

What’s the role:
- Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Training employees on safety policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with UK health and safety regulations and
- Maintaining safety records, prepare reports, and monitor safety performance to ensure compliance with UK health and safety
- Collaborating with other departments to address safety concerns and issues.
- Staying updated on the latest UK health and safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensuring that all CDM requirements are followed.
- Investigating accidents and near misses
What you will need:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrate proficiency in analysing and interpreting data, with a keen attention to detail, combined with the ability to work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety-related software
- Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, such as CDM 2015, LOLER & PUWER
- Full driving licence.
