We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and efficient individual to join our team as SEN Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to provide key administrative support to the school’s SENCo and the Special Educational Needs (SEN) team.

The successful candidate will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s EHCP review process, working closely with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, proficient in IT, and able to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment. You will have strong communication skills and a commitment to ensuring all children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) are fully supported.

Closing date for applications is 12.00 noon, Thursday 27 February 2025

Interviews will take place w/c 03 March 2025

Early applications are encouraged. Suitable candidates may be interviewed before the closing date and we reserve the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made.

To apply please complete an application form (available to download from the School’s website www.stbenedicts.org.uk) and return to recruitment@stbenedicts.org.uk. Further details can be obtained from the HR department: 020 8 862 2185 or email recruitment@stbenedicts.org.uk.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

The safeguarding responsibilities of the post include:

  • child protection, discipline, health and safety
  • promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
