About Our Client
Our client is a well-established, mid-sized organisation within the professional services industry. Based in London, they offer a comprehensive range of financial services to a diverse clientele, including corporations, individuals, and not-for-profit organisations.
Job Description- Oversee a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring their tax affairs comply with statutory time limits.
- Provide tax planning advice and identify tax saving opportunities for clients.
- Prepare tax returns and computations, liaising with clients to gather necessary information.
- Review tax returns and computations completed by junior staff.
- Manage and develop junior members of the team.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and HMRC.
- Keep up to date with tax legislation changes and communicate these to clients and staff.
- Assist in the growth of the tax department through business development activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Personal Tax Manager should have:
- Professional tax or accounting qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA or ATT).
- Solid experience in a personal tax role within a professional services environment.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- A competitive salary, ranging from £60,000 to £70,000 depending on experience.
