The role of the Clinical Research Nurse/AHP is to take responsibility for the identification of clinical trials appropriate for our clinical services, the facilitation of these trials and once open, their ongoing management and care of patients and participants.
The post holder will ensure that participant care, treatment, assessment, follow-up and data collection are co-ordinated according to the appropriate research protocols. The post holder will work as part of a Research team alongside Research Nurses and Allied Health Professionals, Research & Development Management team members, study teams and other key stakeholders but also closely with clinical departments.
