Speech and Language Therapist

This job vacancy is commutable from Ellesmere Port, Chester Centre and very close to the centre of Chester and is close to public transport routes.

• £37’400 - £45K per annum, Band 5 – Band 6 Negotiable DOE
• UK Driving License Essential.
• 40 Hours per week.
• 20 Days Annual Leave plus bank holidays (Rises to 25 after 5 years’ service)

• Provide specialized support in speech, language, and communication to children and young people (ages 4-19) with complex autism, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours within a school environment.
• Work closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that each pupil's needs are fully understood, effectively planned for, and monitored.
• Offer guidance to teaching staff, equipping them with expert knowledge to enhance the communication development of pupils, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
• Deliver direct and indirect therapy sessions for individual students and groups, adapting the approach to meet their specific needs.

• A qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Experience working with children with autism and complex needs or possess transferrable skills from similar roles.
• A strong commitment to evidence-based methods and a genuine passion for supporting children in reaching their full potential.
