Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (SEN)
Location: WolverhamptonWeekly Salary: £420 to £450
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a specialist SEN school in Wolverhampton, catering to children aged 11-16 with individual educational health plans and additional support needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational needs, helping them to access learning and reach their potential
- Assist with implementing individual education and health plans
- Support classroom teachers with tailored interventions
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure student progress
Requirements:
- Minimum GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
- Ability to show patience, empathy, and resilience
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (term-time only)
