Senior Therapy Practitioner / Occupational Therapist who is an HCPC registered, with leadership skills and has community experience in adaptations or with a strong desire to specialise in this field, is required for an Award Winning Team based in Oakham, Rutland, East Midlands.
SALARY: £42,708 to £45,718 per annum plus £3,000 Market Supplement + Benefits (see below)LOCATION: Oakham, Rutland, East Midlands

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior Therapy Practitioner / Occupational Therapist who is an HCPC registered, with leadership skills and has community experience in adaptations or with a strong desire to specialise in this field.

Working as a Senior Therapy Practitioner / Occupational Therapist you will support the day-to-day management of the organisation’s exemplary services, including major adaptations and the new in-house housing MOT and minor adaptations service, alongside the existing D2A pathway.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Senior Therapy Practitioner / Occupational Therapist include:
- Work closely with the Therapy Team Manager to oversee the running of the exemplary services to meet the evolving needs of the residents of Rutland
- Manage a small clinical case load, overseeing the adaptations services
- Provide staff supervision and clinical guidance
- Approve assessment documentation using Liquid Logic software
- Work flexibly to cover a 7-day service
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the Senior Therapy Practitioner / Occupational Therapist you will have the following skills, experience and qualifications.- Experienced HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Leadership skills and a desire to develop managerial skills alongside a small complex clinical case load
- Experience in supervising staff and getting the best out of people through motivational techniques and being an outstanding role model
- The ability to work well as an autonomous practitioner and support a team with clinical guidance/reasoning
- Community experience in adaptations or have a strong desire to specialise in this field
