The Position: We’re looking for a Technician – Forklift Truck We are looking for a conscientious forklift truck technician who will ensure that all work areas are properly maintained and that materials and tools are available to both staff and apprentices as appropriate.

Responsibilities for the role:1. To set up work areas for use, as directed;2. To maintain working and general areas, including cleaning as required;3. To support teaching staff through practical assistance;4 To maintain and operate a materials/equipment store, including inventory maintenance etc ;5.

To work with Health & Safety to ensure safe disposal of non-essential equipment and stock;6. To complete Health & Safety, Risk Assessments as required for rooms;7. To represent the division on the college’s Health & Safety Committee8. To undertake any other duties within the spirit of the job description and commensurate with the grading of the post The Location: The site is based at Harrowbrook
