Looking for a new job with satisfaction you'd struggle to find anywhere else? We've got just the opportunity for you!

Our amazing #TeamNewDeer are on the lookout for caring, compassionate and motivated individuals to join them on a full-time, part-time and relief basis.

The Role

You'll become part of a friendly, welcoming team who supports eight individuals who are all on the Autism spectrum. There's never a dull moment at New Deer, no two days are ever the same and you'll always be kept on your toes!

You'll provide invaluable support with all aspects of daily living, including medication, meal preparation, housework and personal care. As the individuals also love keeping active and being part of their local community, we're also looking for you to be enthusiastic and creative when supporting them with their hobbies and interests too which include walking, swimming and activities at home.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too! However, due to the rural location and very limited public transport links, we will need you to have a driving licence with access to your own vehicle.

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

A caring and compassionate attitude
The ability to work well in a team
Good communication and organisational skills
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Confidence in the use of computers

A full driving license and access to your own vehicle

Shift patterns usually fall between the hours of 0900-1645 and 0800-0800 (includes a sleepover) or 0900-0900 hours (includes a sleepover) 7 days a week. Your rota will be issued on a 4 week rolling basis.

If working full-time, you will typically work 7-8 sleepovers a month, Our sleepover shifts don’t fall as part of your contracted hours, so you'll receive an additional payment of £96 for every sleepover shift you work!
