Service Desk Analyst

Mainstay is representing a well-established managed service provider based in the Swindon area, which is currently in search of a Service Desk Analyst to join a team. The organisation provides leading edge secure solutions for customers in defence, blue light, science/medical and other industry research departments often within universities.

As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, building and supporting technical 1st line solutions within a secure managed services environment. Along with diagnosing and resolving incidents with existing infrastructure. You will act as an initial point of contact for external and internal customers providing support to users.
You will also ensure that all communications to the Desk, phone calls, e-mails etc. are answered promptly and in a professional and courteous manner.

The successful candidate will have:

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with end-users and provide clear, concise instructions and solutions.
Proficiency in providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems efficiently.

Knowledge and understanding of O365, Active Directory and Windows 10

Ability to perform laptop/desktop builds from scratch, including installing operating systems, configuring settings, and installing necessary software.
Capability to undergo and obtain Government Security Clearance with no restrictions, ensuring compliance with security protocols and regulations.
