Operations Workstream Lead | North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust
We are seeking experienced and strategic leaders to join our team and contribute to the creation of a state-of-the-art healthcare facility that will set new standards in patient care and sustainability.
As the Operations Workstream Lead, you will be instrumental in the operational and clinical planning of the Trust’s hospital redevelopment programme. This role involves driving hospital operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering patient-centric care to establish the Hospital 2.0 model for the scheme. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring the programme meets the highest standards of governance, public accountability, and quality benchmarks.- Develop an operational plan that aligns with the project’s goals, ensuring seamless execution and eventual scheme operation.
- Support the development of the target operating model (TOM) for the new hospital, engaging with clinical leads on clinical pathways.
- Oversee operational activities to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Conduct demand and capacity planning to forecast future patient numbers and healthcare service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development, testing, and implementation of standardized operational procedures and decant planning tools.
- Manage relationships across operational and clinical teams to ensure alignment with the RAAC programme and mitigate potential disruptions.
- Provide leadership in operational readiness, ensuring that hospital staff are prepared to utilize new facilities effectively.
- Prepare and present reports to the Board and Committees, updating on progress against key performance indicators.
- Oversee operational planning and alignment with the RAAC programme to ensure minimal disruption to services.
- Monitor and manage risks within a clinical and quality governance framework.
- Lead engagement sessions with the Operations directorate to provide updates and gather feedback for the programme.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to drive strategic operational delivery in line with NHS sustainability goals.
