The Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher of Art Craft and Design. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-resourced team to make a significant impact on student achievement and to work within a cohesive team of talented and committed colleagues.
The arts are a valued part of the core curriculum offer at Langdon Park and attainment is good at KS4. We have wonderful teaching facilities and are well resourced, to enable the delivery of a creative and culturally rich curriculum.
We are looking for someone who- is passionate about the visual arts with the ability to inspire students
- can demonstrate excellent teaching and classroom management skills
- has the ability to build good relationships with all students and adults
- has a commitment to developing curriculum activities within the Art and Technology faculty
- is ambitious to contribute to the development of the department through Design which is shared within the curriculum by two subjects Art, Craft and Design - Design Technology.
- is willing to contribute to the wide range of enrichment opportunities we offer
