We're looking for aPayroll Specialist who's not just anumber-cruncher but a proactive problem-solver with a passion fordriving improvements and making an impact. This is an excitingopportunity to be at the heart of our payroll operations, ensuringthat our 2400 employees are paid accurately and on time whileplaying a key role in optimising our payroll systems andprocesses.
What You'llBe Doing:
- Handle Complex PayrollChallenges: Tackle intricate scenarios involvingbonuses, deductions, pensions, and statutory payments, ensuringcompliance with UK payroll legislation
- Drive Insights andImprovements: Provide valuable, data-driven insightsto senior management, and spearhead initiatives to streamline andenhance our payroll processes
- Collaborate Across Teams:Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT to optimise our payrollsystems and ensure seamless integration with other businesssystems
- Lead andInnovate: Participate in or lead payroll-relatedprojects, including system upgrades and process reengineering,helping us stay ahead of the curve
- Mentor and Support: Shareyour expertise by training and developing team members, and act asthe go-to person for resolving payroll queries andissues

- CIPP (CharteredInstitute of Payroll Professionals) qualification or equivalent(desirable)
- Experience working in a large,multi-site organisation
- Previous experiencewith payroll-related projects, such as system implementations orupgrades
