3305 - Staff Engagement & Communications Administrator (SECA) - Senior Admin Officer Permanent - Bristol
We are recruiting a Senior Administrative Officer to provide direct support to the regional Staff Engagement and Communications Officer. Although recruited on the generic Senior Administrative Officer Job Description the tasks will differ, as below:
Responsibility for maintaining, and promoting the Reward and Recognition scheme (including Long Service Awards), involving the liaison with internal departments to deliver vouchers and/or gifts and providing advice to business units and staff on process.
Act as a single point of contact for regional colleagues to assist with creative projects and developing internal content.Support the SECO in creation and administration of regional content and events, including intranet site publications, newsletters, presentations, podcasts, videos and social media content.
Act as a single point of contact for regional engagement and communication queries.
Act as single point of contact for regional outreach support.
Maintenance of distribution lists, proactive resource gathering, and upkeep and auditing of information systems in compliance Information Assurance policies.
Any other duties as detailed by the Staff Engagement and Communications Officer or Head of Corporate Services.
Person specification
The job holder should meet the following requirements:
Experience of all Microsoft Office applications is essential
Experience of (or willingness to learn in role) Adobe Creative Cloud packages, especially Photoshop and InDesign, as well as a willingness to learn and develop skills with other software packages.An ability to write and optimise content for a variety of internal and external communications, excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Consistency in terms of voice, branding and messaging, ensuring core corporate values are reflected in their work at all times.
A capable organiser who is used to meeting competing deadlines.
The job holder will be provided with appropriate induction and training.
