Practice Accountant - Dorchester
Their clients are mostly involved in rural enterprises, but they have the expertise to provide a comprehensive accounting service for all types of clients.
The firm is looking to strengthen its accounting team with the appointment of a Qualified-Level Senior Accountant, to work closely with one of the partners, assisting in the running of the partner's portfolio of clients. The role will be diverse in nature, encompassing both an element of individual work and overviewing work undertaken by colleagues.Particular focus is expected towards actively developing and extending the firm's relationships with clients, ensuring that a high standard of service is consistently delivered. The role could also include a sizeable amount of tax work if this is something you might be interested in doing.
The ideal person will be an ACA or ACCA qualified with strong academics and who has extensive exposure to similar work in another accountancy practice. The role will be very "hands on" and so you will need to be able to work on your own initiative, and although review of work will be involved, there will not be a great deal of staff management.
