This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Warwick or Bicester, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented minds in the automotive field.

What's the opportunity:
Reporting to the Programme Purchasing Manager, you will drive and manage our sourcing plan across the vehicle programme to ensure all commodities follow the sourcing process and Programme Purchasing standards are met.
What you will do:
- Drive and maintain Direct Purchasing sourcing timelines against key Programme deliverables such as cost and programme milestones.
- Manage and coordinate cross functional stakeholders including Engineering and Manufacturing partners to develop plans for supply chain delivery.
- Responsible for representing the Procurement team through metrics, KPIs and status in key management reviews whilst maintaining their accuracy
- Develop cross-functional business relationships from Product Development, Supplier Quality, through to Cost Engineering with the intent to build cross functional processes.
- Drive and support key Procurement workstreams, understand critical issues & work with teams to formulate mitigation responses and ensure successful programme delivery
- Support in driving continuous improvement across the Business
Requirements
Who you are:
- Degree in Business or Supply Chain or equivalent experience (desirable)
- Excellent experience in Direct purchasing/Programme purchasing
- Experience of creating reports and key metrics
- Project management and stakeholder management skills
- Experience of working within the automotive sector (desirable)
- Great influencing and communications skills
- Analytical and methodical approach and mindset
