Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team in Preston! As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across various key stages, ensuring that students receive high-quality, engaging lessons.You will work within a supportive department, helping to drive the success of our students through innovative teaching methods and a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with potential for KS5 teaching).
- Develop and implement schemes of work that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Passionate about teaching and supporting students' development.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in teaching Maths at secondary level is preferred, but newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also encouraged to apply.
