Senior Conservation Officer needed in Huddersfield

The rate is paying up to £40ph PAYE for the right candidate

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing heritage advice in relation to pre-application discussions and planning applications. They will provide input to the Local Plan and policies in relation to heritage conservation issues within agreed targets, timescales and priorities and will carry out surveys and assessments for Listed Building Consent applications and the making of conservation areas.

The candidate will respond to enquiries from applicants, agents and developers; advising on planning and related permissions and the procedures to be followed and will attend public inquiries, informal hearings and/or court proceedings to give evidence.
