Software Engineer / Developer (Java) WFH / Surbiton to £47k
Are you a "scientifically minded" Software Engineer with Java coding skills looking for an opportunity like to progress your career working on complex and interesting systems?
You could be joining a global geoscience technology company within oil and gas exploration.
As a Software Engineer you'll join a supportive Agile team responsible for the company's subsurface discovery desktop application which is used to determine sites across the globe. You'll gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle working on new features and enhancements as well as maintaining existing applications.
Location / WFH:
You'll be able to work from home most of the time, meeting up with the team in Surbiton once a week.
About you:
- You have commercial Java development experience
- You're familiar with Agile ways of working such as Scrum or Kanban
- You a good understanding of Unit testing
- You're collaborative and enjoy problem solving
- You are degree educated in a Scientific or Computing discipline
- C# coding skills would also be great, happy to learn ul>
