HLTA/TA at Welton Primary School (30 Hours Per Week)At Welton Primary School, we are seeking a passionate, caring and inspiring individual to join our school team, as a higher level teaching assistant (HLTA). They will be able to demonstrate our commitment to nurture and educate our wonderful children here at Welton.
This is a permanent position 15 hours HLTA and 15 Hours Teaching Assistant. We are looking for a friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic practitioner who is confident in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum and will be able to fit into our committed team.
As a HLTA, we are looking for someone who will deliver a range of curriculum subjects, confidently, to groups of children including whole classes. Alongside this, they must be flexible in their approach to supporting class teachers with duties across the whole school.
As a TA, we are looking for someone who is willing to work across different year groups supporting children with a range of needs. ‘Welton Primary School is a happy and welcoming school. The right candidate will have:● Attainment of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards or qualified teaching status● GCSE English and Maths at grade C/grade 4 or above.● To be able to use their own initiative to improve classroom practice.● Experience of working within a classroom environment.● Good communication skills, being able to build and maintain relationships with staff and pupils.● The ability to use relevant technology/equipment.● A commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school whilst maintaining the school's values within these.DesirableHave relevant training around a variety of nurture provisions.This vacancy is for 30 hours per week working across the week and within different year groups.

This will be 15 hours as a HLTA and 15 hours as a TA. This will initially be until August 2025, with a view to being made permanent. If a candidate is successful, they will be invited to attend an interview. Date TBC.
