More detail about the role This post provides a unique opportunity to join the pharmacy team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and provide dispensary-based services as a registered technician with the GPhC.
The post holder will be embedded into the Pharmacy Dispensary where you will be trained in all aspects of the hospital dispensary services, including the use of our electronic patient record and dispensing system. The successful candidate will be given full training and support in order to meet the requirements of this post including carrying out Controlled Drug audits on the wards and clinical areas.
The successful candidate will also work towards regional ACPT (Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician). Medicines Management training will also be offered in due course. As a key member of the Trust, youll be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients when they need it most.

The Pharmacy Department at the Royal Devon is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking person to extend their skills as part of our busy dispensary team. You will need to be registered with the GPhC as a registered technician. Applications will be considered if you are currently working towards becoming registered with the GPhC You will be based within the Pharmacy Dispensary where full training will be given in all aspects of hospital dispensary services, including the electronic patient record and dispensing systems.
Working Pattern: Full time hours are available (37.5 hours per week), which can be worked flexibly as agreed at the interview.
