Senior Planning Lawyer
A local authority based in North-West London is seeking a Senior Planning Lawyer on a permanent basis.
The salary range on offer for this role is £58,248 - £61,617 p.a. inc. London weighting.
The contractual hours per week are 36 hours. You will be required to attend the office 3 days per week.
The position:
Following a recent restructure, the local authority are looking for a Senior Planning Lawyer to join their in-house Legal Service’s Commercial Team.
The Senior Planning Lawyer will be required to provide cutting edge advice on complex Planning and Regeneration matters alongside supervising junior staff and deputising in the absence of the Chief Lawyer for Property, Planning and Regeneration.
You will also have Compulsory Purchase Order experience.

The successful Senior Planning Lawyer:
The Senior Planning Lawyer should be experienced and able to work to a high level. You will be proficient at providing specialist and proactive legal advice in all areas of planning and regeneration.
You will need to hold a current practising certificate and have a can-do attitude.
Previous management or supervisory experience would be highly advantageous.
Local government experience would also be advantageous.
