The Chelsea Nursery provides the vital foundations for a child’s educational journey supporting their early years development whilst engendering a love of learning through an academic curriculum that is specifically tailored for each child. This prepares our children for an effortless transition into pre-prep education and beyond.

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Chelsea Nursery, to join our team in delivering the provision of a full-year year, broad based, rich and academically excellent, curriculum for our 6 month to 4 year old children as they prepare for transition to an academic prep school.

You will join the Chelsea Nursery team playing your part in the delivery of a high quality, academically focused early years education whilst providing a safe, nurturing environment within which our children can grow.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification)
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)

• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 6 months – 4 years.
• Plan and implement EYFS-appropriate activities, ensuring they are stimulating and engaging.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
