A well established accountancy firm based in Altrincham, Trafford, are recruiting for an AAT Qualified Semi Senior Accountant to join their finance team on a full time, permanent basis. The Altrincham office is one of many offices in this multisite accountancy group who are seeking a qualified Accounts candidate with three years hands on experience in practice who enjoys hands on, client facing accounts, VAT and tax work.
Semi Senior Accountant Job Overview
Hands on bookkeeping, preparing VAT returnsSupporting the management team to provide an excellent service to the practice's clients
Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations and returns (occasional personal tax work)
Ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard
Building and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues and clients within the practice
This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Junior, Trainee Accountant or existing Semi Senior Accountant to take on more complex and varied accounts, vat and tax work.
Semi Senior Accountant Job Requirements
AAT qualified AATQB with excellent practical experience of bookkeeping, tax and accounts3 years UK accountancy practice experience
Excellent Xero, sage or iris experience
A UK driving license
Excellent communication skills
Semi Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits
£30,000 - £32,500 dependant on skills and experienceBased within a reasonable commute of Altrincham
