An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Clinical Educator to join the existing education/senior management team within Chapel Allerton Hospital & Wharfedale. We are motivated to influence thefuture of healthcare through education and staff development.
Are you passionate about staff education? Are you looking for an opportunity to improve standards of care for patients? Do you want to use your knowledge and experience to develop others? If the answer is yes, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for a Clinical Educator (CE) to support the delivery of our educational strategies and enhance learning across a variety of healthcare disciplines, including Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Professional groups.
Additionally, the CE will need to provide education surrounding clinical incidents within the CSU; always striving to be clinical safety is prioritised through learning. Working clinically alongside members of the nursing staff, you will facilitate learning new skills, taking on new roles and responsibilities.
This will entail facilitating assessment of staff competence when taking on these new skills and providing individualised feedback. Some examples of sessions you may facilitate, consist of: Clinical Skills, Moving & Handling, fit testing, and student support.
