We are working closely with a Secondary School in Milton Keynes to recruit a Music Teacher to start join a Secondary school permanently from April or September 2025.- Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
- Start date: April or September 2025
- Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm or Permanent contract on offer
- Pay: M1 - M6, UPS 1
- 3 - Contract would pay weekly on a daily rate equivalent £160
- 230+ for Qualified Teachers, depending on pay scale)
Are you a skilled, ambitious, and passionate teacher of Music? Are you ready for your next challenge and to inspire pupils across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5? This is an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Music looking for a new challenge and opportunity - We are open to applications from Qualified Music Teachers or experienced Further Education Teachers.
As a Music Teacher, your timetable will be predominantly teaching GCSE and A level classes to students electing these subjects as part of their options. You will have full teaching responsibilities and inspire students to achieve excellence in this creative subject.
As a Music Teacher, you will have access to excellent Music facilities including 7 Practice Rooms (Piano, Drum, and Guitar suites) as well as Computer area with Cubase and Sibelius Software.
Could this be you? Do you demonstrate:
- Passion for Music Theory and Practical
- PGCE Qualification specialising in Music or related-subject
- Excellent knowledge of GCSE and A Level Music syllabus
- Excellent understanding of teaching Secondary age pupils
- A 'can do' and positive attitude to inspire pupils
- An ability to motivate and inspire, whilst using your own initiative
- Willingness to learn and support others
- Patient and friendly attitude
- High levels of resilience and emotional intelligence.
