Part Time Hockey Coach
Richard Huish College has a strong reputation regionally in its offer of a wide range of A level and vocational courses in Taunton and the surrounding areas in Somerset.
We are currently seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our hugely successful programme, supporting our students in a variety of disciplines.
Candidates will be required to coach a group 16-19yr olds of mixed ability, delivering a programme focused on team and player development, as well as enthusing and engaging students to encourage regular participation. The candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will fully embrace the sporting and educational ethos within the College.The successful candidate will have coaching experience, current coaching qualifications (Level 2 and above preferred) or a PE teacher qualification, as well as first aid certification.
Candidates would need to be available to coach on Mondays 15:00-16:30, Wednesdays 12:30-16:00, Friday 15:00-16:30

- Hours: 6.5 hours per week on Fixed term, annual Contract; start date – 28 weeks worked between 26th August 2025 to 30th April 2026. Candidates must be available Mondays 15:00-16:30, Wednesdays 12:30-16:00, Friday 15:00-16:30
