Connect Appointments are seeking a Delivery Driver to join our new Kirkcaldy based timber merchants.
What's on offer?- A full-time temporary contract
- Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00
- Paid weekly at £11.44 p/h
Once you arrive at the clients address you will unload the van, and then return to the yard for the next delivery.
Your duties will include:
- Unloading delivery vans
- Delivering goods to customers on designated routes
- Maintaining regular communication with route dispatchers
- Review deliveries with recipients to ensure they're accurate
- Obtaining delivery confirmations from customers
- Ensuring the van is kept in a clean condition
- Heavy lifting and some yard work
Please Note - This role involves heavy lifting.
To be successful within this Delivery Driver role you will have at least one years previous experience in a delivery role. Combined with a full UK driving licence with a maximum of six points; Good timekeeping skills; and the ability to work with little supervision.Some degree of IT skills would be beneficial, as you'd need to work from an app.
