Behaviour Support Assistant – January 2025 Start
Teaching Personnel are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a secondary school in Wigan from January 2025. You will provide one-to-one support for a child who may display disengagement and challenging behaviour.
This is an excellent role for someone with previous experience working in care or with children who have SEN needs.
Key Details:
- Position: Behaviour Support Assistant
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: Full-time
- Pay rate: £83.85 - £95 per day.
- Contract: Potential progression to a permanent role after a trial period
Requirements:
- Experience working with students aged 11–16 in a behaviour support role.
- Strong interpersonal and behaviour management skills.
- A calm and patient approach to building rapport and managing challenges.
- DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
