Lab Technician

This is an on-site position with a 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include:

• Demonstrate Safe Behaviours to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Actively participate in the AES Loss Prevention System, assessing risk and demonstrating safe behaviours in all aspect of the role.
• Conduct quality tests in accordance with local SOPs and Internationals Standards.
• Completes daily checks as per lab matrix (SQC, equipment verifications) to identify quality, safety and equipment performance related emerging issues.
• Timely reports any off-spec material and participate in investigation.
• Release product within Sample Manager system and SAP.
• Maintain equipment record and responsible for product result traceability.

Qualifications:

• As a minimum, a good general education: Grades A-C at GCSE level including Maths, English and one other Science/Technical subject.
• Experience working in manufacturing laboratory, chemical or physical testing laboratory would be preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949 Standards or any other industrial standard.
