SEN Teaching Assistant
Do you have experience of working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues (SEMH) between the ages of 11-16?
Are you confident in dealing with challenging behaviours?
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Secondary Teaching Assistant to work with students in Stockton. We are looking for someone who is available full time (8:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday), starting ASAP!
The right candidate will have experience in teaching on a 1:1 basis and in small groups for disengaged pupils.
Due to the nature of the provision children may display challenging behaviours, therefore holding a Team Teach qualification will be desirable, yet not essential.
You could earn £425- £490 per week depending on experience, this can be negotiated for long term roles.
Regardless of your availability, we would like to hear from you as we have both part time and full-time hours available, as we work with several schools across the local authority so many opportunities are available.
