Payroll Administrator - Basingstoke - £30.000 per annum

Our client requires a Payroll Administrator and they're responsible for managing and processing payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports
  • Address and resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies from employees.
  • Assist with audits related to payroll and employee records.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of payroll software and systems.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in payroll legislation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll procedures and regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
