We are looking for a Content Marketing Lead who can own, shape and elevate our content across digital channels. This is a part-time, hybrid role ideal for a strong strategic thinker who’s also happy getting hands-on. You’ll bring a deep understanding of how to communicate clearly in a regulated space, and a passion for building trust through education, storytelling and values-first messaging.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of our content strategy, manage content delivery across web, email, video and social, and help our audience understand and connect with halal home finance. You'll work closely with our Head of Marketing to translate complex ideas into human, relatable and inspiring content.

  • Passionate about inclusive, ethical and faith-aligned content
  • Familiar with Islamic finance or eager to learn more
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple workstreams
  • Collaborative, proactive and adaptable to the pace of a growing startup
  • Ready to roll up your sleeves and lead content that drives real impact
What you'll do
  • Lead and execute a content marketing strategy that supports business goals
  • Own and evolve our tone of voice and brand narrative
  • Plan and create high-quality content across blog, email journeys, video scripts, brochures and campaigns
  • Translate complex financial concepts into clear, human-centred, and compliant messaging
  • Collaborate with designers, digital and performance marketers to bring campaigns to life
  • Work closely with our shariah and compliance teams to ensure content is accurate, aligned and FCA-compliant
  • Use SEO insights and performance metrics to shape and optimise content over time
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in content marketing, brand storytelling or editorial strategy
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a flair for clarity and tone
  • Experience working in regulated environments (FCA, finance or fintech required)
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a practical, proactive approach
  • Understanding of SEO and how to write for both people and performance
  • Agency or startup experience
  • Confidence mentoring others or guiding junior content creators
  • A natural eye for brand voice and positioning
Benefits
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience + Equity
  • 25 days annual holiday
  • Annual L&D budget
  • 3% pension contribution
  • Monthly socials
  • Central London location (this is an hybrid role with an expectation of at least 3 days in the office)
  • Friendly and informal startup environment with a focus on performance and impact
