Festival Logistics and Support Assistant (London) (6-Month FTC)
Founded in 2001, Resident Advisor (RA) is one of the world's longest-running music media brands and a cornerstone of the dance, electronic and DJ ecosystem. The site's audience of over 6 million monthly users is drawn in by a combination of news, editorial, club listings and ticketing, RA-branded events at venues and festivals worldwide, original films and a weekly mix series that has run for 18 years.
Purpose of the role:
This is a full-time position (to also include weekends during festival season), based over the summer season in London, and will support our festival logistics team across the UK and Europe to ensure we maintain our industry-leading service levels.Playing a vital part in the logistical operations of one of RA’s most dynamic teams, the Festival Logistics and Support Assistant will be responsible for managing the festival operations of some of our biggest clients across the UK and Europe.
Key responsibilities:
- Required the work the following weekends from May to September:
- The following weekends are non-negotiable, and other weekends may be required outside of this. However, we can be flexible on working days around these current specified dates.

- Responsible for preparing scanning equipment for relevant events and festivals throughout the season
- Managing our existing equipment and ensuring all scanning devices are well maintained, up to date and returned after each rental
- Assisting our ticketing team with on-site entry logistics for our festival ticket partnerships
- Confidence to deal with complex ticketing issues on site and represent the best of RA Ticketing services
- Working closely with our account management team to plan and advance large-scale events and festivals for our key partners
- Outside of festival weekends:
- Dealing with customer ticketing queries and resolving potential ticket issues
- Assisting promoters with event and payment-related queries
- General upkeep of ticketing admin system
We’re looking for:
- Outstanding relationship-building and client service skills.
- Track record of effective communication, both personal and digital.
- Exceptional organisational skills with an ability to think proactively, prioritise work, and juggle multiple tasks at once.
- Festival door and / or office experience is a plus but not essential.
- The ability to speak Spanish is desirable but not essential.
