About Our Client
A Public Sector organisation with a large property portfolio who are implementing some major changes and now require someone with specialist knowledge to ensure processes and reporting are maintained along with statutory requirements.
Job Description
As the Governance and Risk Manager you will act as the lead for an up coming RSH inspection and with closely with senior management, external partners and supplies and the board.
Key duties:
- Review and make amendments on key policies, documents and procedures.
- Lead preparation of assurance across the organisation working with colleagues across the business, to prepare documentation for inspection on: property inspections and maintenance to comply with health and safety standards and tenancy management documentations.
- Review financial reports and ensure compliance with government guidelines.
- Business Partner across the organisation
The Successful Applicant
Successful candidates will have extensive knowledge of housing policies, ideally from a regulatory environment or other public sector organisations and have been involved with housing inspections. The role will require someone to be on site 2 days per week.
What's on Offer
£450-£500 per day on a an initial 6 month basis.
The Governance and Risk Manager will be play a pivotal role within the organisation and the successful candidate will get a chance to work with senior leadership, board members and external stakeholders very closely.
