Are you a passionate and dedicated Physical Education (PE) teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and motivate students? A school in Southampton is seeking a dynamic and committed PE Teacher to join their team and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that inspire a love for physical activity and promote healthy lifestyles.
- Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
- Monitor and track student performance, ensuring individual needs are met.
- Attend parents' evenings to discuss student achievements and areas for development.
- Contribute to the broader school community through extracurricular activities and sports events.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and behavior.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and develop the PE curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching PE at secondary level (Key Stages 3 and 4).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physical education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to start as soon as possible.
