Maintenance Team Leader
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance and Facilities Team Leader for our client, an engineering manufacturer in Wigan. This is a permanent position working straight days with an early Friday finish.
Your role will be to lead all maintenance activities, improvements, and day-to-day production support. You will ensure the production plant is safe, operational, and meets on-time delivery targets. Key duties include managing preventative maintenance schedules, controlling spare part costs, and supporting contractor work.You will also collaborate with production and engineering teams to enhance plant capabilities and respond to changing customer demands.
Ideally you will hold an HND/HNC in Engineering with a time-served apprenticeship and have previous experience in manufacturing and facilities management. Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills will be required along with proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
