Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow Teaching Assistants in a dynamic classroom to enhance play and learning experiences for nursery and reception students.
- Ensure Safety: Remain vigilant and engaged at all times to maintain a safe environment for children.
- Support Development: Assist children in developing their numeracy and language skills through engaging daily activities.
- Encourage Independence: Foster independent work while promoting social interaction and peer engagement.
- Create a Positive Atmosphere: Cultivate a caring and safe space to encourage children’s growth and development.
- Follow Policies: Adhere to the school’s safeguarding and protection policies.
- Assist with Personal Care: Support children with their personal care needs as required.
Position Details:
- Location: Newport
- Start Date: November 2024
- Salary: Starting at £83.34 per day
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- Hold a Child-Only DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
- Provide two professional references from the past 24 months.
