As a Maths Teacher, you will have the chance to inspire and educate students in the world of numbers, equations, and problem-solving. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and has a love for mathematics.

This will be a Maternity Cover from Feb 2025 - Feb 2026!

Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum guidelines.
Create an engaging and interactive learning environment for students.
Teach mathematical concepts and skills to students of various levels.
Assess student learning and provide feedback on their progress.
Use a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate teaching activities.
Participate in professional development and stay up-to-date with current teaching methods.

Requirements

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
DBS on the update service or willing to undergo a new one
Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Patience and understanding to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with technology and the ability to incorporate it into teaching.
