Senior Support Worker - Full Time - Band 3 - Permanent

Come and join the team at the residential Care Home Derby House . We support 6 ladies with learning disabilities and Autism to achieve their goals, reach their full potential and live life to the full. Whilst supporting them in all aspects of daily living in the care home setting.
Main duties of the job- Support individuals with daily living, promoting independence, working alongside and adhering to the persons support plan and risk assessments.
- Supporting with personal care.
- Supporting with health appointments
- Supporting people to go out to places of interest, go on holiday.
- Supporting making and cooking meals and drinks.
- Shift leading, ensuring a shift runs safely and smoothly.
- Escalating any concerns around the health of an individual.

We also provide social care services for people with a learning disability in Croydon and ASD and ADHD assessment services in Hampshire.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience
Experience
Essential criteria- 12 months experience of working with People with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health setting
- Experience of working in teams
Other
Essential criteria- A driving licence suitable driving in the U.K, and meets the requirements set out by the Trust insurers to drive the Trust vehicle
