The Project Management Professional Team provides administrative and project management support across the Centre for Guidelines
Main duties of the job
The Senior Programme Manager manages a team of programme managers, project managers, coordinators and administrators providing support across the Centre for Guidelines.They will be responsible for maintaining a workforce planning system to enable clear resource assignment and trackable activity for the Professional team.
They will support the CfG SLT in delivering priorities as set out in the business plan, for example the Timeliness project.They will work closely with the PMO and topic hubs to monitor the flow of work to ensure adequate team resources are available and will undertake forward planning to ensure the programme is suitably resourced to meet business plan objectives.
This includes leading on recruitment planning and working closely with the senior team to inform recruitment decisions for the next business year.
The post holder will be an effective collaborator who will maintain key relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders who input into the development of guidance.

Essential criteria- Master’s degree in business/logistics management or equivalent level of knowledge acquired through experience and further training/development
