This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Web Producer who will play a major role with the technical design and development of company’s technical offerings. The role is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.
Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.Directing or performing Website updates.
Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.
Create wireframes to decide on layout.
Consistently create well-designed, tested code using best practices for website development, including mobile and responsive site design
Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.
Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements. Meet regularly with business stakeholders and management to understand and refine business and functional requirements and determine project scopes and specifications
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]Expert with server-side frameworks such as python, ruby, php, Java, ASP, ASP.NET
3+ years of Experience implementing and using modern web development workflows and operations using a variety of tools including GitHub NgRxKnowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and understanding of SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush).
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Angular and other web services and program applications is essential to succeeding in this role.
Knowledge of SQL (SQL Server or Oracle) preferable.
Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
Understanding of web hosting environments, including shared hosting, VPS, and dedicated servers. Familiarity with hosting providers and control panels (e.g., cPanel, Plesk).
Proficiency with web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools for tracking website performance, user behavior, and conversion metrics.
Experience with popular CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or Sitecore. Ability to manage content, themes, and plugins/modules.
Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD for creating and editing web graphics and layouts.
Experience developing with NgRx.
Design of RESTFul Web APIs.
Proficiency with content management systems, including WordPress and Drupal
