We're proud to be partnering with one of the UK's leading innovators in smart building technology to appoint a Major Projects Business Manager-a strategic leadership role at the forefront of intelligent, energy-efficient infrastructure.

This is a rare opportunity to take full P&L ownership of major projects ,overseeing complex programmes across the UK. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping some of the nation's most iconic smart developments, driving the transition to sustainable, data-led building environments.

The Role

This is a high-impact role suited to a commercially driven leader with a passion for smart technologies and large-scale project delivery.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing and delivering the major projects strategy in collaboration with the MD and senior leadership team.
• Leading and motivating a skilled engineering and delivery team to achieve excellence in performance, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Partnering with the sales function to grow market share within the UK's new-build construction sector.
• Managing forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning to ensure strong financial and operational outcomes.
• Building and nurturing long-term client relationships while ensuring best-in-class project execution and governance.

About You

We're looking for a confident and strategic IoT leader with deep expertise in project and operational management-ideally within Smart Buildings, BEMS, or the wider building technology space.

You will bring:

• A strong track record of senior-level leadership in the construction, energy, or building controls sector.
• Proven experience delivering major projects, with an ability to drive commercial performance and operational efficiency.
• Sharp business acumen with an analytical mindset and clear understanding of P&L, forecasting, and KPIs.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel across sites nationwide.
