Production Team Leader
Founded in 1977, Planteria has evolved from a small startup into the largest interior landscaping company it is today, with an impressive annual turnover of £20 million. With a focus on strategic partnerships, continuous innovation and client satisfaction, the company has accelerated its growth in the past 3 years and achieved a 33% year-on-year growth over this period, and now employs over 150 staff.
We are now hiring for a Production Team Leader to join the team.
This role will be responsible for leading the production team and ensureing the preparation and assembly of displays meet high corporate standards. Work collaboratively with the existing team to meet weekly deadlines on production targets and maintain high-quality output.
- Lead, manage, and take accountability for a team of 8 people.
- Act as a technical problem solver when required.
- Oversee and manage stock control to ensure production is not disrupted.
- Ensure quality control processes are followed and that all products meet required standards.
- Ensure all production activities are completed within the allocated budget.
- Support the team in meeting productivity goals and delivering on deadlines
- Requirements
- Must be a strong team player.
- Organized, efficient, and proactive with the ability to take initiative.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in a supervisory or team leader role, preferably in a production environment.
- This role requires someone who is capable of motivating a team, managing production processes efficiently, and ensuring high standards of quality and performance are maintained.
