Clinic Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team responsible for developing and extending the provision of a co-ordinated Schools based counselling service within Newport. The post holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships with statutory and voluntary partnership organisations in coordinating a quality service for schools.

The person appointed will hold a Postgraduate degree or Diploma in Counselling and/ or Psychotherapy and be an accredited Counsellor or Psychotherapist (BACP). The post holder will have substantial training and or experience in clinical supervision of counselling with children and young people.

This is a part time (0.4 FTE, 2 days per week), fixed term post until 31/08/2025.

If you are a successful external candidate for this position, you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
