If you really love to manage and develop ranges and leading the way in the products you offer, and have experience in leading Purchasing activities in the products for re-sale sector, then we have a great opportunity where you can really make your mark by joining a growing business as a Category Manager.This company are still in their “early-years” so as the Category Manager you have the chance to be a key player and be rewarded for driving the business forwards.

As the Category Manager, you will be getting involved in:
- Managing and developing product ranges to support business growth
- Driving innovation through product development and introducing new lines
- Leading the sourcing and procurement activities within the business including negotiations for costs and terms and conditions, supplier management etc
- Ensuring effective margin management
- Leading the team of Buyers and supporting their development
- Analysing data to ensure informed decision-making
- Previous experience in a retail or e-commerce Buying environment
- Experience in leading and managing a team
- Strong analytical skills with the ability
- Previous experience in buying / trading/ product development will be essential
- Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities
- Confident negotiation skills and experience managing supplier selection processes
- Previous experience in a Category Manager / Buying Manager / Purchasing Manager / Senior Buyer / Product Manager role within the goods-for-resale market will be essential
